Karamats (Muslim Shrines) are burial sites of Saints of Islam. For many generations, residents of Cape Town visit these Shrines and pay their respects.

On Wednesday 23 April, the Prestwich Memorial Project Team, with the assistance of the Interfaith Committee, conducted a moving interfaith blessing ceremony of the recently completed ossuary within the Prestwich Memorial adjacent to St. Andrews Square in Green Point.
