The Daljosafat Cultural Landscape is significant because of its idyllic setting, rich history associated with the living heritage and distinctive cultural and natural environment, it boasts a ditinct Cape Vernacular Architecture with an aesthetic landscape design, unique to South Africa. Further significant features of the site are that it remains untouched, unaltered and it is authentic in its rural simplicity.
